In Bed-Stuy, Trad Room opened its doors just a month ago, inviting locals and visitors for amazing Japanese-inspired dining experiences in one of Bed-Stuy’s beautiful landmark buildings. The menu is comprised of Japanese fusion created by talented chefs, and entering Trad Room almost feels like a time warp in NYC.

Bring your loved one to dinner and enjoy a great night at Trad Room. Every voucher is valid for a three-course menu for one person. Purchase one or more vouchers. Choose a starter from the ‘tapas’ or ‘appetizer’ section. Taste the Shrimp Ajillo or the Beef Carpaccio with soy sauce and shiso. Go for the Japanese Fried Chicken with garlic, ginger and sake or the Lamb Gyoza with ponzu sauce. For your entree, enjoy the Seared Salmon Bowl with shiso leaf, microgreens, pickled ginger, wasabi-soy-sauce and organic brown rice. Try the Slow Cooked Ribeye with handcut french fries or the Grilled Branzino with seasonal vegetables and soy sauce koji. For dessert, go for the Chocolate Fondant served with homemade ice cream. About Trad Room

After working at some of the most respected restaurants in Japan, Japanese-born and raised Tatsumi Suyama came to NYC, dreaming of opening his own place. The idea? Creating a low-key, neighborhood-oriented restaurant with food experiences that can’t be found anywhere else in NYC.

Seeing potential in a landmark building that had not been used for more than 10 years, the realization of bringing Trad Room to life began. It took more than two years of not only renovating, but also sourcing interior treasures at flea markets all over the country – resulting in a beautifully decorated space with a homely vibe and just amazing food.
